These decals give the illusion of deep paint scratches and fatigue cracks, reducing the probability of theft of your new bike.  At the same time the “defects” provide an inferred basis for identification, another point of fear for cowardly thieves.   All-weather and washable, yet may be safely peeled away when your desire.
