CHAIN- This 3/8” trapezoidal (4 sided) link chain, manufactured in Austria by PEWAG, GmbH is “case-hardened” to resist cutting by 3-foot long bolt cutters, hack saws, reciprocating saws and/or electric grinders. In tests we have found PEWAG's trapezoidal cross section much more difficult to shear cut than our asian competitors lower quality, cheaper-to-manufacture hexagonal (6 sided) design.
